update on creative gallery
I'm almost finished with my creative gallery. I have the fanfiction story written up and I posted it on this blog last night. Last night I also signed up for FanFiction.net and created a pen name - raelyn14. Now I just need to figure out how to post the story on the site and I'll be finished. But before I do that, I do need to come up with a good name for my story. It has to do with something about babysitting. I need to come up with something clever. I'm slightly (okay, more than slightly) worried about what other fanfiction writers are going to say about this piece. It's not the best work in the world, to be sure. I have put some thought into it though and would appreciate a nice response as it is my first submission.

Are there other stories that run on this sort of topic? If anything your story will be something completely different and I'm sure it will be fine.
ReplyDeleteCaitlyn, I really like your story! It is very entertaining and I think you did a great job! It may be helpful to give readers a little background about what your fan fiction is based off of. I'm not very familiar with Star Trek. However, if you post this on a Fan Fiction website, I suspect that readers will already have some idea of the story's context.
ReplyDeleteGreat story! The same ideas came to my mind that are in the previous to posts. Are there other stories with a similar topic like this? The background on your fan fiction would help readers understand you and your writing better, as well. About the title. I'm not sure what I would call it if I wrote something like this. It's a rather different short story. But I really enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteI am afraid that I will run out of time, so I haven't read your story yet. I am going to here shortly, and then hopefully will be able to give you better feedback. Awesome that you are on top things though!
ReplyDeleteYour story was definitely enjoyable. :) I'm not the most experienced with Star Trek, but I know what Kathryn looks like and picturing her with an elephant trunk and Klingon(sp?) ridges is definitely amusing. Very well written, and I think that you are very good at creating realistic conversations between your characters.
